Ama is an African native who emigrated to America, she was seen in the episode The Tyrant. She was portrayed by Kelly Scott.
President Dibala, the president of the country where she used to live was sick. Dibala threatened Ama's family saying that he would eliminate them unless she gave her blood to make the serum that was going to be used to treat Dibala for Lassa fever. Dibala brought her to Houses team's attention, however they all thought that it was obvious that he was forcing Ama to consent. They took it to Cuddy, but Ama claimed that she was doing it of her own free will. They figured out that Dibala had threatened Ama's family, and Cuddy consented because she didn't want to be held responsible for the deaths of Ama's family.
