Andre Braugher, born July 1, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois, portrayed Dr. Daryl Nolan, House's treating physician at Mayfield Psychiatric Hospital during Season 6.
He is probably best known for portraying detective Frank Pembleton on the TV series Homicide: Life on the Street and reprising his role in 2000 for the movie version. He also portrayed Thomas Searles in the movie Glory and Captain Raymond Jacob „Ray“ Holt in the TV series Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
