An autopsy, is a essential medical examination in which a medical examiner (or coroner) finds out how the deceased came to be deceased.

Autopsy's can be gruesome, the medical examiner starts through cutting through the skins to expose muscle and organs, he/she then removes all the internal organs (if they are being donated) and then moves onto the brain, where the skull is cut open and the brain is removed from from it's stem.

The blood is drained from the body, stitched back up and prepared for burial.
