Next month's featured article will feature the late, great Carl Reiner whose short appearance on the series was merely part of a wonderful late career that started in the 1940s. He will be greatly missed, but let's make sure his article properly reflects the legacy of the man. SteveHFisyh (talk) 01:44, July 3, 2020 (UTC)

Czech television station Prima has been airing a show "Modrý kód" - Code Blue - which has been inspired heavily with House M.D.

It started with obvious copycats of medical stories, but it all gets even more interesting when a new character Honza M.D., older female with right leg hurt, overdosing with analgetics and diazepins, being rude, getting to conflicts with patients and stuff (first big exposé in episode 248 ), later even getting prescriptions thru other people.

    Math problem

    March 27, 2020 by Rabago18

In the episode The Right Stuff, right after the patient goes into cardiac arrest, House and all the applicants are back in the lecture room. The math problem behind House shows an adjacency graph, along with what looks like “Find the adjacency matrix.” (Although it’s somewhat etched out). The second question is “find the matrix of 3.” It should be “Find the matrix of 3 step walks.” These are the first two questions and the same exact graph as the math problem in Good Will Hunting, the very first one.

Nevertheless, I managed to whip up a featured article for this month and, for next month, I'm planning on taking on a much bigger challenge - Rhabdomyolysis. All help appreciated. However, it's pretty much done now and I'm moving on to something really different next month; Older Man. I think he deserves just as much attention as Orange Guy. First and foremost, here's to let you know I am, for the second time, changing the way featured articles are chosen. I've had to pick the last few so I am just going to pick them myself from now on.

However, that doesn't mean I don't want input. I've created a page for it Featured article suggestions.

Bur for next month, it's going to be someone with a terrible existing article that clearly deserves a better one - John Larroquette. Please help us improve it to the quality a multiple Emmy winner deserves. SteveHFisyh (talk) 01:02, November 2, 2019 (UTC)

Sorry for a topic that's getting obnoxious these days, but...

    1. We learn in Adverse Events that House was a male cheerleader. Male to Female transsexuals tend as youngsters to try roles that are characteristic for their desired gender.
    2. House spends a lot of time with extremely masculine funs like monster trucks, poker, whores, potato gun. This is a well-known way of self-supressing subject's transsexuality.
    3. House makes fun of Cuddy. While this may be interpreted as a reference for Cindy McCauliff, isn't it just a projection of his desires? "Venus Envy"?
    4. House gets easily distracted by judging if another person is a shemale instead of trying to think (House Divided). This isn't something that would even come to a cissexual person's mind in 2009.

I've been racking my brains for a while now but I just can't remember in which episode this scene/quote occurs: "Her bad idea led to a good idea..."

I found this quote on IMDb and think it is the right one, but I can't link it to an episode: Dr. Gregory House: I have a new theory. Her bad ideas don't indicate a lack of intelligence, they indicate... an open mind, a willingness not to be trapped by conventional...

The problem is it does not include the 2nd part of leading to a good idea.

It's a brilliant example of how even a bad idea can spark a good idea in the process of teamwork. I want to reference the video in a meeting but just can't seem to locate the episode it happened in?

Can anyone help? Or even suggest where I can find the episode …
