Alvarez is a corrections officer who appears in the episodes Twenty Vicodin and Transplant.
In Twenty Vicodin, he almost tries to stop Gregory House from performing a tracheotomy on Nick. Later, he realized that Sullivan is going to try to stab House, but he is held back and unable to intervene.
In Transplant, he wakes up House to tell him the Dean of Medicine of Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital is there to speak to him.
