Charles Robinson was an American character actor, probably best known for his role as Mac Robinson on Night Court. On House, M.D., he portrayed suspicious clinic patient Robert in the Season 2 episode Humpty Dumpty.
A member of the Actor's Studio, Robinson's 40 year career has included featured roles in Flamingo Road, Night Court, Buffalo Bill, Love & War, Home Improvement, and Secret Santa.
Robinson died on July 11, 2021, at the age of 75 from cardiac arrest with multisystem organ failure due to septic shock and metastatic adenocarcinoma, a type of glandular cancer.
