Colleen Celeste Camp is an American actress who has spent a lot of her career of nearly forty years making a living playing police officers - she has played a police officer more than any other female actress. On House, M.D., she portrayed Charlotte Novack, the sick wife of Eddie Novack in the Season 5 episode Simple Explanation.
Camp initially was "discovered" working as a bird trainer at Busch Gardens and was offered primarily roles that traded on her looks. For example, she portrayed "Miss May" in Apocalypse Now. However, she soon developed her acting skills and was often cast as a police officer - the first time in Police Academy 2. She has over 100 screen and television credits including featured roles in Rich Man, Poor Man - Book 2, Cat in the Cage, The Game of Death, Smokey and the Bandit Part 3, Clue, Police Academy 4, My Blue Heaven, Wayne's World, Sliver, Tom, Speed 2: Cruise Control, Election, Running With Scissors, The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman, Four Christmases, and Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant.
