Elan Soltes was the visual effects supervisor on House, M.D. for all eight seasons. His best known and most innovative work was his illustration of disease processes.
Although computer graphic imaging was used in the series, Soltes designed most of the effects using 3D models and motion control.
He was also responsible for practical effects, such as showing the patient bleeding.
