Mary Elle Fanning is an American actress. Even at the age of seven, when she appeared as Stella Dalton, the young daughter of Margo Dalton in the Season 2 episode Need to Know, she already had nine television and movie credits, starting with a short appearance as the younger version of her sister Dakota Fanning in I Am Sam at the age of two.
Since then, her credits have continued to be impressive. In the summer of 2011, she will appear in a featured role in the blockbuster Super 8, directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg.
