Franka Potente is a German actress who played the character Lydia in the episode Broken.
Potente first came to wide notice in Germany as the title character in Lola rennt (Run Lola Run!), one of the most popular German films of all time that also reached a wide audience in the Americas. In 2001, she started working in Hollywood, first in the Johnny Depp movie Blow and became much better known to American audiences in the movie The Bourne Identity and its two sequels.
Watch for her in The Sinking of the Laconia and in a TV movie portraying German contraception and sex pioneer Beate Uhse. She currently stars in Copper.
