Patricia Joanne "Jenny" O'Hara is an American actress, probably best known for her role as Dixie Randazzo on My Sister Sam. However, she has an extensive resume both as a stage, television, and movie actress, as well as a rock muscian.
After spending a year in university and then working summer stock theatre, O'Hara came to New York to study with the leading acting teacher Lee Strasberg. During the 1960s, she worked largely in New York doing theatre work, making the transition to movies and television in the 1970s.
During her career, she has had regular, recurring or featured roles in The Return of the World's Greatest Detective (Playing "Dr. Joan Watson", a psychiatrist treating a man who had a delusion he was Sherlock Holmes), Highcliffe Manor, The Facts of Life, Secrets of Midland Heights, Live-In, An Unexpected Family, Life's Work, Dangerous Minds, An Unexpected Life, Costello, Party of Five, Roswell, Nancy Drew, Two Weeks, The King of Queens, Big Love, and Franklin & Bash.
