Kathleen York (also known as "Bird" York) is an American actress, probably best known for her role as Andrea Wyatt on The West Wing. On House, M.D., she portrayed Eric Foreman's boss at New York Mercy Hospital, Dr. Schaffer, in the Season 4 episode 97 Seconds.
In addition to seventy acting credits, York is an accomplished screenwriter, songwriter and singer. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her work on the soundtrack for the film Crash. She has had featured roles in The Client List, Desperate Housewives, The O.C., Vengeance Unlimited, Murder One, Naomi & Wynonna: Love Can Build A Bridge, Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, Aaron's Way, The Alamo: Thirteen Days to Glory and Dallas.
York also performed the song In the deep in the Season 2 episode Autopsy
