Marin Hinkle is a Tanzanian born American actress who currently stars as Judith Harper-Melnick the ex-wife of Alan Harper on the series Two and a Half Men. On House, M.D., she portrayed Naomi Randolph, the patient in the Season 1 episode Babies and Bathwater.
Hinkle was born while her parents were in the Peace Corps. They are now a judge and a college professor. Hinkle worked at KFDA-TV in Amarillo, Texas from 1990-1994 before becoming an actress.
Hinkle started out in small roles, but had her first hit with the series Once and Again in 1999. Right after she left that series, she found her second hit role on Two and a Half Men.
