Michelle Berkley is the mother of Jordan, the patient in the Season 6 episode Known Unknowns. She is married to Derek Retzinger. She was portrayed by actress Holly Gagnier.
Michelle and Derek travel extensively for their work, largely leaving Jordan to fend for herself as a "credit card kid". Hoewver, when they hear Jordan is in the hospital, they both rush back to Princeton.
When Jordan gets better, she promisses that they will spend more time with her. However, Derek gets a phone call and they have to rush off again.
