Nestor Carbonell is an American actor of Cuban descent. He has been a regular on a number of different television series during his seventeen year career. On House, M.D., he portrayed Jeffrey Reilich, the father of patient Gabriel Reilich in the Season 1 episode Cursed.

Carbonell started his career with an appearance on Law and Order in 1994. The following year, he was a regular on the short lived series Muscle. However, in 1996, he had more luck and landed on Brooke Shields' sitcom Suddenly Susan as Luis Rivera for a run of 93 episodes. After that, he starred in the movie Jack The Dog as the title character and had a short but memorable run as the character Bat-Manuel in the live action version of The Tick. After a short run as Frank Duque on Cane, he landed on the hit series Lost as Richard Alpert.
