Prescription Passion is House's favorite soap opera and a "show within a show" on the series House, M.D. Several short scenes from the show are often shown on televisions being watched by Dr. House during the series. The first appearance of Prescription Passion was in Pilot.
In Living The Dream, House treats the star of the show, Evan Greer, who plays the character Dr. Brock Sterling on the show. Greer hates the work he is doing despite the money and the adulation he receives from it. He feels the plots are ridiculous, the acting is stilted and that he should be doing something more substantial.
