Princeton University is an Ivy League private university located in Princeton, New Jersey - exactly half way between New York City and Philadelphia.
Although Princeton is one of the most prestigious and respected universities in the nation, it is not terribly large - it has about 5,000 undergraduate students and about half as many graduate students. Compare this with nearby Columbia University, which has almost 7,000 undergraduates and almost 16,000 graduate students.
Another unusual thing about Princeton is although it has some excellent graduate programs, including the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, it has no professional graduate schools and does not offer degrees in medicine, law or business administration.
