Sarah Wayne Callies (born Sarah Anne Callies) is an American leading actress, best known for her role as Dr. Sara Tancredi on Prison Break. On House, M.D., she portrayed open marriage advocate Julia in the Season 6 episode Open and Shut.
Callies was interested in acting from an early age, but only pursued it as a sideline, even in college. However, after getting her bachelor's degree, she joined the Denver National Theatre Conservatory where she obtained a Masters in Fine Art. She got leading roles in Tarzan and Queens Supreme, but didn't hit it big until her role on Prison Break.
Callies starred in The Walking Dead as Lori Grimes.
