Some content needs to be added as to the origin of this character and if this has subsequently been changed. I was under the impression that she was working as a prostitute when she met House but this is not mentioned in later episodes.
In the episode Body and Soul Dominka claims to have served in a police service for one year. She is also seen speaking on the phone about a Polish uncle but I can't confirm if she was speaking in Polish or Ukranien.
