Has anyone else noticed that in Season Three, House has almost completely stopped popping his Vicodin pills on-camera? Story-wise, there has been no discussion that his habit has changed, so there is no reason to assume that he has cut back on his addiction.
My suspicion is that Fox or the producers of the show got pressured either by advertisers or special interest groups to stop showing scenes in which he tosses back those pills. Does anyone have a clue why this sudden and apparently permanent change has occurred? It's kind of screwing with the dynamic of the character and the pacing of the show.
