This is a Season 8 episode of House that will first air on October 3, 2011. It will be the season premiere. It is directed by Greg Yaitanes and written by Peter Blake. The episode will aparently cover a period of about one year after the episode Moving On and will be told largely in flashbacks to House's time in prison.

Season 8 starts out with Gregory House serving out a prison term for his various misdeeds in Moving On, including his trip outside the country in an attempt to escape responsibility. However, despite falling so far, all is not lost as House falls for a beautiful doctor in the prison and ensures, one way or the other, that she remains part of his life. As expected, House has great difficulty getting along with his fellow inmates, and frequently jeopardizes his changes to get parole by showing no remorse for his actions or respect for the parole board. However, they decide that if he can behave for even a short time, he will be released. Despite that, House actually finds a diagnostic puzzle as a fellow inmate seeks him out for help, but will the diagnosis save the patient but keep House on the inside?

Michael Pare appears in this episode as the prison warden. Jaleel White will also guest star as a fellow inmate.

It does not appear that Omar Epps, Jesse Spencer or Peter Jacobson will appear until the second episode of Season 8. Olivia Wilde is expected to make an appearance, and Charlyne Yi may also debut.
